This experience will give you a good overview of Black History and Local Life in Bahia, with wonderful local music and flavours.
I am a local Tour Guide in Salvador, Bahia and for 10 years I have been giving local experiences to my guests. Not only we visit the TOP attractions in town, but also the genuine places that locals go and are not easy to find by yourselves.
This virtual experience will do the same - show you my selection of hidden gems in Bahia!
1. Overview of Brazil and Bahia: Colonial history, Slavery Trade, my personal choices for the best of town: food, music, my favourite sunset in town (guess what, that is NOT the LightHouse ;)- Farol da Barra)
2. Virtual Walking Tour in the Old Town: architecture, local street food, meeting locals and percussion in the old town
3. Gastronomy in Bahia: our food is famous all over the world. Muqueca and Acaraje are the top selection in any restaurant and we will see the history behind the "Reino do dende" (Palm Oil Land)
I will also make sure that we have enough time toward the end to engage with the audience, we'll talk about anything Bahia/Brazil, and answer your questions or debate your virtual experience in Bahia (Q&A)
- All info will be provided by email after booking.
- General Admission for One Screen : USD 11.50
- I will include a digital package to give you a full and local experience in town, for booking your next vacation here - suggestion of places to visit, playlist with local music, etc.
